Walking Group
The Walking Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a morning walk, plus on occasion a longer day walk is included, a different area is chosen each month. We meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 start and naturally when possible finish with refreshments. Details of where to meet for the start of the walk are issued at our Members monthly meeting, held on the first Tuesday of each month in Hordle WI Hall.

Todays walk was to seek out Bluebells, We parked at Otters and then caught the 81 bus one stop to Lyton Lawn Touring Park then proceeded to walk back along the foot paths at the rear of Otters via Great Newbridge Copse, back on to the road and yes we ended up at Otters ... to then enjoy, coffee, hot chocolate, cake and chat...having actually walked!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable walk led by Sue starting at Highcliffe Castle walking along the beach to Mudford, stopped here for yes.... coffee, hot chocolate, cake and chat before setting off back through Steamer Point Nature Reserve. What a joy to be able to actually attempt a walk instead of visiting Otters Garden centre.
