Information on Booking the hall

Unfortunately we do not have sufficient volunteers to continue manning the single let events for parties etc. For regular bookings (daily, weekly, monthly) the current fee as from 1st Jan 2026 is £14.00 per hour.

To make a regular hall booking check the Hall Hiring schedule 2026 to ensure the day and time is available and then contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Please note your booking times must include time required for preparation and clearing up. 

Hire fees are reviewed each September, any increase would be notified to you in November with the new fee commencing on the 1st Jan.

An acknowledgement of your booking will be sent via email but until the first four weeks sessions are paid in advance, prior to the first hire date, the booking is not confirmed.  Thereafter you will be invoiced monthly by This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for hours booked in the previous month.  The payment to be made within 14 days of the date of the invoice, by BACS to "Hordle WI”.   If the conditions of hire are not met, Hordle WI committee reserve the right to cancel the hire agreement.

Regular hirers need to sign the key register, plus signature to acknowledge the conditions of hire.  Please note loss of, or failure to return the key when terminating a regular booking agreement, will incur a lock replacement fee plus new keys as outlined in the 'Hire Term and conditions, clause E.

By signing the hall booking form you are acknowledging that you have read the terms and conditions of hire and agree to be bound by them: being personally responsible for ensuring the hall is left in a clean and tidy condition, ensuring the floors swept after your session and the kitchen door is closed.
